Tennessee has been targeting a wide-out prospect from Buford High School in Buford, Georgia – Jordan Allen. He is a class of 2025 prospect who is teammates with Justin Baker. He was offered by Tennessee back in November, and since then, he has been in contact with the Volunteers

. He recently took the time to speak with Volunteer Country about his recruitment. He starts the conversation off by saying, “My recruitment is going really well. I’m continuing to chat with schools. I’m also trying to keep in contact and see how everything plays out

.” The 5’8, 170-pound receiver also talks about the schools pushing hard for him. He states, “A couple of schools have been in contact with me the most lately, including Kansas, Tennessee, Clemson, and Georgia. All of those schools make me feel like a priority. Just the willingness to communicate with me and show interest in me means a lot and catches my attention.”

Visit season is about to go into full effect, and Allen was asked about potential visits. The Buford prospect says, “I don’t have any visits set up right now.

I definitely want to try to go to those four schools and maybe some others. I want to get closer with the schools that have been in contact the most lately.” He was asked about his relationship with the Volunteers staff. “Pretty solid. Coach [Kelsey] Pope and I have built a relationship since November, when he started recruiting me.

I’ve made a trip up to Knoxville for games twice in the fall. I’m pretty familiar with the area.” Allen also mentioned his current teammate and Volunteer commit, Baker. “I also have a teammate who is committed already. 2025, Justin Baker. That’s my guy!” Baker is the current running back for Buford and is committed to Tennessee.

When Allen was asked how big Baker’s commitment is to him when considering Tennessee, the playmaker responded, “Justin’s commitment definitely plays a role when looking at Tennessee. He’s been recruiting me ever since I was offered. It would be fun to keep this duo going at the next level.” He has also stated that he has no plans to cut schools.
